Amsterdam-based collective Metahaven has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary visual culture. Working across film, design, and writing, their practice explores the shifting terrain of geopolitics, propaganda, and the aesthetics of the digital age — always with a blend of conceptual rigour and striking imagery.

Their films have been shown from MoMA in New York to CPH:DOX in Copenhagen, while solo exhibitions span institutions such as the Guggenheim Bilbao, ICA London, and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Alongside cultural collaborations, Metahaven have designed for fashion houses, institutions, and activist groups — including early work with WikiLeaks. A lesser-known detail: one of their films was even made in Hungarian!
